Contemporary
“If I could say it with words, there would be no reason to paint.”
Edward Hopper
I’ve spent many years understanding and creating fundamental paintings (landscape, figurative etc.). Recently have I decided to undertake a newer contemporary approach. I’ve always loved traditional and contemporary, it is now time to merge the two passions and release a new creative flow. In this new chapter of my artistic journey, I delve deeper into the intricate tapestry of human emotions and experiences. Each fearless brushstroke is a reflection of the joys, sorrows, hopes and fears that define our shared humanity.
My passion lies in capturing the ephemeral moments that often go unnoticed – the fleeting glances, silent struggles and unspoken connections. Through bold colors and dynamic patterned compositions, I aim to evoke a visceral response, inviting viewers to invent their own narratives and confront their own emotions & memories.
This body of work is not just a visual exploration but a personal catharsis. It is my attempt to process the complexities of life, to find meaning in chaos and to celebrate the resilience of the human spirit. By channeling my own experiences onto the canvas, I hope to create a space where others can find solace, understanding and a sense of connection.
